YWHAQ belongs to the 14-3-3 family of proteins which mediate signal transduction by binding to phosphoserine-containing proteins. This highly conserved protein family is found in both plants and mammals, and this protein is 99% identical to the mouse and rat orthologs. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 0.03-0.1ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Human Brain (Hippocampus) lysate Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
