A bisperoxovanadium compound that acts as a potent protein phosphotyrosine phosphatase (PTP) inhibitor as well as an insulin receptor kinase (IRK) activator. Also an excellent insulin mimetic in vitro and in vivo and a potent PTEN inhibitor (IC50 = 38nM). Storage and Stability: May be stored at RT for short-term only. Long-term storage is recommended at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
