Cell-permeable. A histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitor (Ki values are 0.41, 0.75, >100 and >100um for HDAC1, HDAC3, HDAC6 and HDAC8 respectively). Displays significant antitumor activity in vitro and in vivo against a broad spectrum of murine and human tumor models. Solubility: ~60mg/ml (DMSO) Molecular Weight: ~269.3 Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degrees C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute with sterile buffer or dH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
