Small actin-binding protein that plays a pivotal role in cytokinesis, endocytosis, embryonic development, stress response and tissue regeneration. GST fusion-protein containing full length human wild type (WT) Cofilin 2 expressed in E. coli. Applications: Suitable for use in Kinase Assay and MS Tryptic fingerprint. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: inase Assay: 10ug of GST-Cofilin 2 (WT) was phosphorylated by L2210. MS Tryptic Fingerprint: Confirmed identity as Cofilin 2 with 40% aa coverage. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and freeze at -70 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months.

Purity: (same/more than)90% by SDS-PAGE and Coomassie blue staining. Purified by glutathione-agarose chromatography.
