Cell permeable. A potent inhibitor of g-secretase (IC?? 5nM for total b-amyloid, IC?? = 200 nM for b-amyloid 1-42). It reduces Ab levels in vivo in plasma and cerebrospinal fluid in young and aged Tg2576 mice. Antagonizes Notch signaling through inhibition of Notch processing. DAPT treatment can influence hematopoietic cell fate decisions and enhances neuronal differentiation in embryonic stem cell-derived embryoid bodies independent of sonic hedgehog (shh) signaling.

Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degrees C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute with DMSO. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C.
