Geldanamycin binds specifically to heat shock protein HSP90; inhibits protein maturation. Solubility: Soluble in DMSO at 100mg/ml. Poorly soluble in methanol, ethanol and water; Not recommended for stock solutions. Maximum water solubility is ~20-50uM. Melting Point: 261-266.5C Elemental Analysis: Calculated C: 60.19% H: 7.32% N: 4.84 Storage and Stability: May be stored at RT for short-term only. Long-term storage is recommended at -20 degrees C.
