Inducible costimulator (ICOS), also called AILIM (activation-inducible lymphocyte immunomediatory molecule) and CRP-1 (CD28-related protein-1) is a member of the growing CD28 family of immune costimulatory receptors. Other family members are CD28, CTLA-4 and PD-1. Human and mouse ICOS share approximately 72% amino acid sequence identity. ICOS is expressed on most CD45RO+ cells. B7-H2, a member of the B7 family of costimulatory ligands, has been identified as the ICOS ligand.
Intended Use:
ICOS BioAssay(TM) ELISA Development kit contains the basic components required for the development of sandwich ELISAs to measure natural and Recombinant Human ICOS. The suggested diluent is suitable for the analysis of most cell culture supernate samples. Diluents for complex matrices, such as serum and plasma, should be evaluated prior to use.
Each kit contains sufficient materials to run ELISAs on approximately 15x96-well plates, provided that the following conditions are met: The assay is run as summarized in the General ELISA protocol. The recommended microplates, buffers, diluents, substrates and solutions are used.
Specificity:
Recombinant protein corresponding to human B7-H2/Fc, NS0 derived.
Range:
~78.1-5000pg/ml
Kit Components:
1. Capture Antibody, 1x1vial
2. Detection Antibody, 1x1vial
