Each vial of HiTSeeker NTSR1 contains U2OS cells stably expressing Human Neurotensin Receptor with no tag. We offer this cell line as a stable cell line but we are now also offering vials of division-arrested cells (DA cells) in order to perform a small number of assays. Each vial of these DA cells contains 2.5 million cells, an enough number of cells to perform a complete experiment in a 96 well-plate or 384 well-plate. Innoprot HiTSeeker NTSR1 Cell Line has been designed to assay compounds or analyze their capability to modulate Neurotensin Receptor. When NTSR1 binds to the Neurotensin a G protein is activated, which in turn, triggers a cellular response mediated by second messengers (Ca). This cell line has been validated measuring Calcium increase in the cytosol. The high reproducibility of this assay allows monitoring Neurotensin Receptor activation process in High Throughput Screening.
