NanoLuc® (Nluc) Luciferase is a small enzyme (19.1kDa) engineered for optimal performance as a luminescent reporter.

The enzyme is about 100-fold brighter than other forms of luciferase and uses a novel substrate, furimazine (Nano-Glo® Luciferase Assay System), to produce high intensity, glow-type luminescence.

The small size and extreme brightness of NanoLuc® Luciferase bring exceptional sensitivity and expanded possibilities to traditional genetic reporter assays.
