Rat Hepatic Stellate Cells (RHSteC) provided by Innoprot are isolated from Sprague Dawley rats. RHSteC are cryopreserved immediately after purification and delivered frozen (passage 0). RHSteC is not recommend for long term cultures since these cells would differentiate to become fibroblat-like cells after plating. RHSteC are guaranteed to further expand for 5 population doublings in the provided conditions.
