The RTP Mycobacteria Kit contains the pre-filled Extraction Tubes with lyophilized lysis components for genomic DNA isolation from Mycobacteria species from sputum, bronchial lavage samples and small tissue samples. After lysis the samples are transferred to a spin column-based procedure with a total preparation time of PCR templates in just 20 minutes. The kit is CE-marked in compliance with the Directive 98/79/EC on in vitro diagnostic medical devices (IVD-Directive). Products which are CE-marked according to the IVD-Directive can be used for diagnostic applications in countries where this directive is recognized.
