The cell line108CC5 is formed by the fusion of mouse neuroblastoma N18TG2 and rat glioma C6-BU-1using inactivated Sendai virus. This cell line was renamed NG108-5 by Klee and Nirenberg (Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. (1974) 71: 3474-77). This is a cholinergic hybrid cell line.
