Applications: \nSuitable for use in Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution: \nImmunohistochemistry: 2-4ug/ml for 30 min. at RT. \nFormalin/paraffin: No special pretreatment is required for the immunohistochemical staining of formalin/paraffin tissues.\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nPositive Control:\nSkeletal or Cardiac muscle or Rhabdomyosarcoma\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Additional Info

Recognizes human alpha-skeletal and alpha-cardiac (sarcomeric) actins as well as neoplasms derived from normal tissues (i.e. rhabdomyosarcomas). Shows no crossreaction with smooth muscle actin. Species Crossreactivity: bovine, rabbit, sheep, rat, guinea pig, and frog.
