Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Peptide ELISA: 1:1,000. Western Blot: 1ug/ml. A 26-28kD band in Human Brain is detected. reliminary experiments gave an approx 26-28kD band in Human Brain (Amygdala, Cerebellum, Hippocampus) lysates after 1microg/ml antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 49.1kDa according to NP_065843.3. The 26-28kD band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
