Control peptide for A0193-30D. Acyl-CoA dehydrogenase, very long chain (ACADVL) is a member of the acyl-CoA dehydrogenases family. ACADVL is an inner mitochondrial membrane protein that catalyzes the first step of the mitochondrial fatty acid beta-oxidation pathway. A deficiency of ACADVL reduces myocardial fatty acid beta-oxidation and is associated with cardiomyopathy. Source: Synthetic peptide corresponding to aa441 from rat ACADVL. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Antibody Blocking. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
