Actins are highly conserved proteins ubiquitously expressed in all eukaryotic cells. Three main groups of actin isoforms have been identified in vertebrates; alpha, beta and gamma. Beta actins coexist with gamma actins in most cell types as components of the cytoskeleton and as mediators of internal cell motility. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 0.5-1ug/ml Immunohistochemistry (formalin, paraffin, and acetone): 0.2-0.5ug/ml Optimal dilution determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degrees C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS to concentration of 0.1-1mg/ml. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. Aliquot and store at -20 degrees C.
