ADAM22 (cytoplasmic) (Disintegrin, metalloproteinase domain-containing protein 22, Metalloproteinase-disintegrin, ADAM22-3, Metalloproteinase-like disintegrin-like and cysteine-rich protein 2, MDC2)

ADAM 22 belongs to the ADAM gene family which havebeen shown to bind integrin and therefore may have a part in cell to cell or cell to matrix interactions. ADAM 22 is unique in the fact that it is only observed in the nervous system and predominantly in the brain. ADAM 22 is attached by cytoskeletal scaffolds to the postsynaptic density and is a receptor for LGI1.\n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\n1ug/ml was sufficient for detection ofADAM22 in 10ug of rat brain lysate by Western Blot using Goat anti-mouse IgG:HRP as the secondary antibody.\nWestern Blot: 1ug/ml\nImmunohistochemistry: 0.1-1ug/ml\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
