ADAMTS5, also known as aggrecanase-2 and ADADMTS11, ADAMTS5 precursor consists of multiple domains. The purified rhADAMTS5 starts at the N-terminus of the catalytic domain and ends at the C-terminus of the TSP-1 domain. The amino acid sequence of rhADAMTS5 is 98%, 97%, and 96% identical to that of canine, bovine, and mouse/rat.
Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
ELISA: 0.5-1.0ug/ml
Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml
Immunoprecipitation: 25ug/ml
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:
Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol and store at -20 degrees C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
