Biotin covalently attached to agarose beads will bind Avidin D or Avidin D conjugates essentially irreversibly. This matrix has a binding capacity exceeding 5mg Avidin D per ml of gel and can be used for the rapid removal of Avidin D or Avidin D conjugates from solution.
Recommended Dilution:
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Binding Capacity:
(same/more than)10mg avidin/ml of gel
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at 4 degrees C. Do not freeze. Aliquots are stable for 6 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
