Agitoxin 1 was originally isolated from L. quinquestriatus hebraeus. Agitoxin-1 is a recombinant peptide expressed in and extracted from E. coli and purified to�homogeneity. Like Agitoxin-2 (#RTA-420), Agitoxin-1 is a potent blocker of the Shaker�voltage-gated K+ channels as well as the mammalian homologues of Shaker.
