AHA1 is a cochaperone that stimulates HSP90 ATPase activity. It may also affect a step in the endoplasmic reticulum with regard to Golgi trafficking. AHA1 interacts with HSPCA/HSP90 and with the cytoplasmic tail of the vesicular stomatitis virus glycoprotein. The protein is expressed in numerous tissues, including brain, heart, skeletal muscle, and kidney tissues and, at lower levels, liver and placental tissues. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 0.05-0.2ug/ml Western Blot: 0.5-1ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degrees C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol, ddH2O. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
