Ah receptor-associated protein (AIP) is also known as ARA9 and XAP2. This protein displays structural similarity to the glucocorticoid receptor-associated immunophilin FKBP52. Although they share significant homology, they have distinct cellular roles and biochemical properties. AIP is known to affect the potency and efficacy of AHR agonists in the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae as well as having functional consequence on AHR signal transduction. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:64,000 Western Blot: 0.02-0.06ug/ml Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 5ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
