Akt1 (Rac PKa, PKBa)

Cat no: A1125-18

Akt1 (Rac PKa, PKBa)

Applications:\nSuitable for use in Immunoblot and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nWestern Blot: 1:5000-1:40,000 detects Akt1/PKBa in RIPA lysates from human HEK293 cells. HEK293 cell lysate or 40ng of purified Akt1 protein, Akt2 protein and Akt3 protein were resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose and probed with A1125-18 (1:10,000). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and a chemiluminescence detection system.\n\nImmunoprecipitation: 5ul immunoprecipitated Akt1/PKBa from 500ug of HEK293 RIPA lysate.\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
