Recombinant Human AKT1 produced in SF9 is a glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 481 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 60kD. AKT1 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. This protein is the full-length form of the protein with a N-terminal His-tag.\n\nUnit Definition: \n250 units/mg. One unit of Akt1 activity is equal to 1 nanomole of phosphate transferred to crosstide substrate per minute at 30 degrees C with a final ATP concentration of 100microM. Please note: Kinase activity may vary depending on the substrate and reaction conditions.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
