Human serum albumin (HSA)s the most abundant protein in human blood plasma. Human Serum Albumin (HSA) is produced in the liver. Human serum Albumin (HSA) is the main protein of plasma; Human Serum Albumin binds water, cations (such as Ca2+, Na+ and K+), fatty acids, hormones, bilirubin and drugs.
Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
ELISA: 1:200-1:500
Western Blot: 1:1000-1:10,000
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Recommended Secondary Antibodies:
I1906 IgY, Chicken Pab Rb x Ch
I1906-10 IgY, Chicken (HRP) Rb x Ch
I1906-12 IgY, Chicken (FITC) Rb x Ch
I1906-14 IgY, Chicken (AP) Rb x Ch
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
