Has specificity for native human serum albumin (HSA). Reacts strongly with native HSA. Strong reaction is seen in ELISA with native HSA directly coated onto the microtiterwell, also when tested in catching ELISA in combination with a polyclonal antibody against HSA. In Western blot after SDS-PAGE, this antibody reacts with native HSA in nonreduced form only. Epitope specificity differs from clones A1275-28 and A1275-28B but overlaps as determined by inhibition ELISA.
