ALOX15 converts arachidonic acid to 15S-hydroperoxyeicosatetraenoic acid. The protein also acts on C-12 of arachidonate as well as on linoleic acid.
Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
ELISA: 1-5ug/ml using recombinant protein. The detection limit in sandwich ELISA is ~3ng/ml.
Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 1.5ug/ml stained human small intestine tissue.
Western Blot: 1-5ug/ml. Band detected at ~74.67kD using HeLa NE cell lysate. Band detected at ~98.93kD using immunogen protein lysate.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
