Angiostatin Kringles 1-3, Recombinant, Human

Recombinant human Angiostatin is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 259 amino acids and having a molecular mass of ~30kD. rHuAng K1-3 is a proteolytic fragment of plasminogen containing the first three kringle structures. It is more active relative to kringles 1-4. rHuAng K1-3 is a specific inhibitor of endothelial cell growth and angiogenesis. UV spectroscopy at 280nm using the absorbency value of 2.08 as the extinction coefficient for a 0.1% (1mg/ml) solution. This value is calculated by the PC GENE computer analysis program of protein sequences (Intelligenetics).\n2. Analysis by RP-HPLC, using a standard solution of Ang K1-3 as a reference.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nLyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degrees C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute with sterile buffer or ddH2O, 0.1% BSA. Aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
