ANGPTL2 (Angiopoietin-like protein 2) stimulates expansion of HSCs. ANGPTL2 plays an important role in the pathogenesis of diabetic glomerulopathy. The upregulation of ANGPTL2 in diabetic glomerulopathy shows a close relationship to abnormal microvasculature and endothelial inflammation. Biological Activity: Activates ERK phosphorylation in THP-1 cells. Sequence: Coiled-coil domain of human ANGPTL2 (aa 23-248) is fused at the C-terminus to a FLAG(R)-tag. Storage and Stability: Short-term Storage: +4 degrees C Long-term Storage: -20 degrees C Working aliquots are stable for up to 3 months when stored at -20 degrees C.
