ANGPTL2 (Angiopoietin-like protein 2) stimulates expansion of HSCs. ANGPTL2 plays an important role in the pathogenesis of diabetic glomerulopathy. The upregulation of ANGPTL2 in diabetic glomerulopathy shows a close relationship to abnormal microvasculature and endothelial inflammation. Sequence: Fibrinogen-like domain of human ANGPTL2 (aa 245-493) is fused at the N-terminus to a FLAG(R)-tag.
