Ascomycin inhibits the production of T helper type 1 (Th1) (interferon and IL-2) and Th2 (IL-4 and IL-10) cytokines in target cells.
Solubility:
Soluble in DMSO at 65mg/mL; soluble in ethanol at 50mg/mL with warming; very poorly soluble in water; maximum solubility in plain water is estimated to be about 10-50uM; buffers, serum, or other additives may increase or decrease the aqueous solubility.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at RT for short-term only. Long-term storage is recommended at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
