AU1 is a commonly used epitope tag engineered onto the N- or C- terminus of a protein of interest so that the tagged protein can be analyzed and visualized by immunochemical methods. The recognized AU1 sequence represents the amino acid sequence DTYRYI, derived from the major capsid protein of bovine papillomavirus-1 (BPV-1).
Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Do Not Freeze. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
