BCMA is a receptor for BAFF and APRIL. It promotes B cell survival and plays a role in the regulation of humoral immunity. It's downstream signaling is dependent on NF-kappaB and JNK.
Biological Activity:
Blocks the binding of mouse BAFF and human APRIL to their receptors BCMA and TACI.
Sequence:
The extracellular domain of mouse BCMA (aa 1-46) is fused at the C-terminus to the Fc portion of human IgG1.
Storage and Stability:
Short-term Storage: +4 degrees C
Long-term Storage: -20 degrees C
Stable for at least 6 months after receipt when stored at -20 degrees C.
