The N-acetyl derivative of muramic acid is an amino sugar found in peptidoglycan, the main skeletal component of both Gram positive and Gram negative bacterial cell wall. Melting Point: 237-239 degrees Solubility: Methanol Storage and Stability: May be stored at RT for short-term only. Long-term storage is recommended at -20 degrees C.
