BioMix(TM) Red is a complete ready-to-go 2x reaction mix of the BIOLASE Red DNA Polymerase for carrying out primer extensions, requiring the user only to add water, template and primers. BioMix(TM) Red contains a non-toxic, non-hazardous red dye, allowing users to ensure adequate mixing. After the reactions are completed, they can be loaded directly onto a gel since there is no need to add loading buffer. BioMix(TM) Red dramatically diminishes the amount of time needed to set up reactions, thereby reducing the risk of contamination. Also by minimizing the number of pipetting steps, greater reproducibility is ensured. Mg Cl2 concentration is 1.5mM and an extra tube of Mg cl2 is supplied if user needs a higher concentration.
