This gene encodes a protein with a BIR (baculoviral inhibition of apoptosis protein repeat) domain and a UBCc (ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme E2, catalytic) domain. This protein inhibits apoptosis by facilitating the degradation of apoptotic proteins by ubiquitination. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunohistochemistry, Proximity Ligation assay and Immunoprecipitation,. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1:5000-1:15000 Immunofluorescence (IC): 1:1000-1:10000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:2000-1:10000 Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 1:10-1:2000 Immunoprecipitation: 1-4 ug/mg lysate Proximity Ligation Assay: 1:1000-1:10000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
