Bromodoxyuridine (BrdU) can be incorporated into DNA during S-phase of the cell cycle. The antibody is suitable for detecting incorporated BrdU in a wide variety of cell types and is suitable for use on tissue sections in double-labelling techniques.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunohistochemistry (frozen, paraffin). Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Flow Cytometry: 1:25-1:100; 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Hybridoma:
NS1 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice.
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
