ErbB2/Her2 is a member of the ErbB receptor family of tyrosine kinases. ErbB2 can be activated without a ligand if it is overexpressed and can be detected in approximately 40% of human breast cancers. ErbB2 is a major target that is being explored In the treatment of breast cancer and other carcinomas.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, Flow Cytometry and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Western Blot: 1:50000-100000
Immunohistochemistry: 1:100-250 (Paraffin)
Flow Cytometry: 1:30
Immunoprecipitation: 1:50
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Positive Control:
SKBR-3 cell lysate.
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
