ErbB4/Her4 is a member of the ErbB receptor family of tyrosine kinases. It is largely expressed in many breast carcinoma cell lines; however, it is also found in normal skeletal muscle, heart, pituitary, brain, and cerebellum. This receptor is more specified than the others in this family because of its unique ability of the C-terminal to bind to a PDZ domain. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:1000-5000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: SKBR3 cell lysate Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
