The c-myc oncogene (p62 c-myc) is involved in the control of normal cellular proliferation and differentiation. In addition, deregulated expression of c-Myc induces apoptosis in different cell types, with c-myc requiring p53 for apoptosis in many cell types. This fact indicates heterogeneous mechanisms for c-myc-induced apoptosis. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Conjugated to horseradish peroxidase (HRP). Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates.
