C-Reactive Protein, Recombinant, Human (CRP, MGC88244, PTX 1, PTX1)

Recombinant hCRP is produced into culture medium by DNA recombinant procedure in E. coli as secretory protein. By expressing kil gene, the outer membrane of E. Coli becomes permeable, allowing Recombinant hCRP to be excreted without cell lysis. Recombinant hCRP has similar biological property in terms of Ca2+-binding ability to the native protein, and is purified by affinity chromatography. N-terminal amino acid sequence of Recombinant hCRP is the same as that of the native human CRP.\n\nApplications: \nSuitable for use as a Standard antigen for the CRP determination. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilutions:\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nAliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Aliquots are stable for 6 months.
