Sialyl Lewis A containing glycolipids and does not cross-react with Lewisa, Lewisb or other structurally related molecules. The epitope Ca19-9 recognized by this antibody has been reported to be a useful marker of gastrointestinal and pancreatic cancers. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: 1:200 for 1 hr. at RT Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Colorectal adenocarcinoma (extracellular membrane associated staining pattern) Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
