Calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase I is expressed in many tissues and is a component of a calmodulin-dependent protein kinase cascade. Calcium/calmodulin directly activate calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase I by binding to the enzyme and indirectly promotes the phosphorylation and synergistic activation of the enzyme by calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase I kinase. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry and Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin). Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:5000-10000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:100-250 (Paraffin) Immunocytochemistry: 1:100-250 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Human brain, mouse brain, rat brain, and SHSY5Y lysates. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
