Carbonyl Reductase 1, 1-277aa, Recombinant, Human (CBR 1, CRN, CBR, hCBR1)

CBR1(Carbonyl reductase 1) is one of several monomeric NADPH-dependent oxidoreductases having wide specificity for carbonyl compounds. CBR1 is widely distributed in human tissues. CBR1 metabolizes many toxic environmental quinones and pharmacological relevant substrates such as the anticancer doxorubicin. CBR1 can also convert prostaglandin E2 to prostaglandin F2-alpha. \n\nSource:\nRecombinant human CBR1 protein was expressed in E.coli.\n\nMolecular Weight: 30kD (277aa)\n\nSequence of amino acids:\nMSSGIHVALV TGGNKGIGLA IVRDLCRLFS GDVVLTARDV TRGQAAVQQL QAEGLSPRFH QLDIDDLQSI RALRDFLRKE YGGLDVLVNN AGIAFKVADP TPFHIQAEVT MKTNFFGTRD VCTELLPLIK PQGRVVNVSS IMSVRALKSC SPELQQKFRS ETITEEELVG LMNKFVEDTK KGVHQKEGWP SSAYGVTKIG VTVLSRIHAR KLSEQRKGDK ILLNACCPGW VRTDMAGPKA TKSPEEGAET PVYLALLPPD AEGPHGQFVS EKRVEQW\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and freeze at 20 or 70 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months.
