Carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) is an oncofetal protein found in normal tissues, tumors of the digestive tract and certain adenocarcinomas. This antibody will help in the detection of CEA in uncharacterized tissues.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Immunohistochemistry: 1:100-1:200 for 1 hr. at RT
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Positive Control:
Colonic adenocarcinoma, cytoplasmic and luminal membrane staining pattern.
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
