This gene is a member of the casein kinase I (CKI) gene family whose members have been implicated in the control of cytoplasmic and nuclear processes, including DNA replication and repair. The encoded protein is highly similar to the mouse and rat CK1 delta homologs. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
Positive Control: 293 cell lysate
Applications:
Suitable for use in RIA, Immunofluorescence, Flow Cytometry, Direct ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, Immunohistochemistry, Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
ELISA: 1:64,000
Western Blot: ~ 48kD band observed in lysates of Human Brain and of cell line HEK 293 (calculated MW of 47.3kD according to NP_001884.2).
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
