Calmodulin binding peptide (CBP) tag is a fusion protein that is useful for immunoaffinity purification of proteins expressed in E. coli. The CBP tag binds to calmodulin resin in the presence of low concentration of calcium and can be eluted with a neutra.
Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:
Western Blot: 0.5-4ug/ml
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
