CCL16 (C-C Motif Chemokine 16, Chemokine CC-4, HCC-4, Chemokine LEC, IL-10-inducible Chemokine, LCC-1, Liver-expressed Chemokine, Lymphocyte and Monocyte Chemoattractant, LMC, Monotactin-1, MTN-1, NCC-4, Small-inducible Cytokine A16, ILINCK, NCC4, SCYA16)

Shows chemotactic activity for lymphocytes and monocytes but not neutrophils. Also shows potent myelosuppressive activity, suppresses proliferation of myeloid progenitor cells. Recombinant SCYA16 shows chemotactic activity for monocytes and THP-1 monocytes, but not for resting lymphocytes and neutrophils. Induces a calcium flux in THP-1 cells that were desensitized by prior expression to RANTES.\n\nApplications:\nSuitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilution:\nELISA: To detect hLEC by sandwich ELISA (using 100ul/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.25-1ug/ml of this antibody is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with Polyclonal Anti-Human LEC as a capture antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4ng/well of recombinant hLEC.\nELISA (Direct): To detect hLEC by direct ELISA (using 100ul/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.25-1ug/ml of this antibody is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4ng/well of recombinant hLEC.\nWestern Blot: To detect hLEC by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hLEC is 1.5-3ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nLyophilized powder may be stored at -20 degrees C. Stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
