CD106, Recombinant, Human (Vascular Cell Adhesion Molecule-1, VCAM-1, INCAM-110)

VCAM-1 is a cell surface sialoglycoprotein expressed by cytokine activated endothelium. The protein has a number of functions including the regulation of leukocyte migration, leukocyteendothelial cell adhesion and signal transduction and may play a role in a number of inflammatory diseases. Recombinant Human VCAM1 also called CD-106 is expressed in E. coli containing 674 (aa25-698) fused to an amino terminal hexahistidine tag.\n\nApplications: \nSuitable to be used directly as a positive control in Western Blot, ELISA and immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested.\n\nRecommended Dilutions:\nOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.\n\nStorage and Stability:\nMay be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
