CD153 is a 39-40kD type II membrane glycoprotein, also known as CD30 ligand or CD30L. This TNF superfamily member is expressed on activated T cells. CD153 has been reported to stimulate B-cell proliferation, antigen-specific antibody production, polyclonal immunoglobulin secretion, and T cell activation and proliferation. This antibody inhibits binding of CD153 to CD30. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1:10; 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4 degrees C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20 degrees C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degrees C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. FITC conjugates are sensitive to light.
